Residents of Kassa community in Barkin Ladi LGA of Plateau State attacked soldiers and set a military checkpoint ablaze following the burial of a villager reportedly k!lled by gunmen.
They said the soldiers were not doing enough to protect them from repeated attacks.
The protest caused some disruption, but things later calmed down after community leaders stepped in.
No one was k!lled, and security has now been increased in the area.
