Ajara Lasisi, the Nigerian actress popularly known as Aunty Ajara in the Yoruba film industry, has passed on.
She passed away in the early hours of Thursday, as confirmed by her family.
The news was announced by Ridwan Lasisi, her brother, in a heartfelt video message.
Ridwan extended deep gratitude on behalf of the family. He thanked the film community for their outpouring of support.
It was gathered that the actress died from cancer related illness
