The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has raised the pump price of petrol from ₦865 to ₦992 per litre in Lagos.
The reason for the price adjustment has not been disclosed, but attendants at NNPC retail stations confirmed receiving instructions to update their pumps to the new rate.
Meanwhile, several NNPC outlets along the Lagos–Ibadan expressway were observed not dispensing fuel at the time of reporting.
