CKN Investigation..MTN Is The Worst GSM Network In Nigeria..Etisalat Is Best

After one month of monitoring and public opinion, CKN Nigeria investigation has shown that MTN Nigeria is the worst GSM operator in Nigeria using all the parameters of assessment.
Our Investigation which cuts across 17 States namely ,Lagos,Ogun Ondo,Edo,Imo .Enugu ,Rivers,Bayelsa ,Akwa Ibom,Kano,Katsina,Bauchi,Sokoto,Niger ,Akwa Ibom and the FCT showed that MTN Nigeria the largest GSM network in the country scored a dismal low in all the indexes of measure.
These include Customer Service, call rates, Down time, Drop calls, Blackberry services, Internet connectivity.
In all the parameters, MTN Nigeria came last.
These are the results

While some people believe that the low number of subscribers on Etisalat network based on the fact that it is the newest of all the GSM companies may be responsible for its robust network, others also believe that the big infrastructure at the disposal of all the other networks should make it possible for them to provide a much more robust and efficient services to its customers..
Globacom for instance for over three days last week had a total network failure that affected all its customers in Nigeria.
MTN with the worst connection has the reputation of network failures more than any other network
Presently there are about 99.4 million GSM subscribers in Nigeria according to the Spokesman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Tony Ojobo in a recent interview with CKN Nigeria.
While Etisalat remains the best network,Airtel is coming second,Globacom third and the largest network in Nigeria that prides itself with the pay off ANYWHERE YOU GO comes a distance last.
Below are the responses of some of our readers on their best and worst networks.
