A man claiming to be the first son of Razaq Okoya has opened up about his strained relationship with the Nigerian billionaire business man, saying he has made several attempts to reconcile with him after 40 years of estrangement.
The man, who identified himself as Fatai Okoya, spoke during a question-and-answer live session with blogger Yeye Kudi Court Room.
He said he had tried to reach his father through friends and other intermediaries but had struggled to gain access to him despite their decades-long estrangement.
Fatai also publicly apologised to his father, saying their disagreement stemmed from a small amount of money he took when he was younger and less responsible.
