Canadian music icon Celine Dion made an emotional return to the stage in Paris on Saturday, performing her first full concert in more than six years after stepping away from live performances due to health challenges.
The singer became tearful as she performed before a sold-out crowd at the Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, telling fans she had promised to return to the stage and thanking them for their love, support and patience.
Dion’s return marks her first full concert since 2020. She was later diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that forced her to cancel performances and take a prolonged break from touring.
The singer performed some of her biggest hits, including “My Heart Will Go On” and “All By Myself,” as fans celebrated her long-awaited comeback.
The emotional concert launched her Paris residency, with Dion expected to perform a series of shows through 2026 and 2027.
Her comeback has been widely celebrated by fans who had waited years to see her return to the stage.
