France Prime Minister, Sébastien Lecornu Resigns

France’s Prime Minister, Sébastien Lecornu, has resigned barely a month after his appointment, the Élysée Palace confirmed on Monday.

His exit comes amid mounting political tension and dissatisfaction within President Emmanuel Macron’s coalition, which lacks a clear parliamentary majority.

Lecornu’s resignation follows criticism from conservative allies over cabinet appointments and deep divisions that have raised fresh questions about the stability of Macron’s government.
