Dangote Reduces Gas Price From N810 To N760

Dangote Refinery has reduced the ex-depot price of cooking gas from ₦810 to ₦760 per kilogram, the lowest in the country. Competing depots currently sell between ₦910 and ₦950/kg, creating a price gap of up to ₦190.

Analysts say the move signals Dangote’s intent to stabilize the LPG market and curb arbitrary price hikes.

This is coming on the heels of the price of the product going for as much as N2200 per kg in the market across  Nigeria
