"They said History has been made!!!
Yesterday, I walked up the podium as the Valedictorian and Best Graduating Student at combined 49th/50th Convocation of UNIBEN with CGPA of 4.98.
I’m incredibly grateful to God, for the unwavering support of my mentors, friends, family, Igarra Community, Akoko Edo , and Edo State."
Journey Rooted in Mentorship: The Writings of my Story.
:There are moments in life when words fail, and emotions take over.
As I watched my Convocation ceremony again, I saw the moment when I couldn't hold back the tears streaming down my eyes.
A man was wiping away my tears - I failed to acknowledge his presence as I was overwhelmed, though He did this consistently for over ten minutes.
Not only was he comforting me, but my mom as well.
Later, I got to discovered that he was the President of the University of Benin Alumni Association North America (UBAANA).
After the loss of Dad in 2011, God has blessed me with incredible father figures - pastors, mentors, and sponsors who have stood by me through every step of my journey.
They took me in, supported me and never gave up on me. Their unwavering belief and investment in my growth have been a cornerstone of my story.
To all the fathers, mentors, and sponsors who pour into the lives of others—investing time, resources, and wisdom into mentees, I want to say a heartfelt thank you.
Your labour of love is not in vain. I pray that every seed you’ve sown will yield abundant fruit, and your efforts will be rewarded in ways beyond imagination."
