Despite the frosty relationship with his principal, the Deputy Governor of Edo State Philip Shaibu has declared his intention to occupy the highest office in the State.
Mr Shaibu made his intention known on Monday in Benin City during his public declaration
He called on the people of Edo State to give him the opportunity to pioneer the affairs of the State from 2024
He did not mention the party under which he will contest
