The central Bank has extended the terminal date for return of all old Naira notes to 10th February 2023
Central Bank Governor Godwin Emefiele announced this on Sunday
He had earlier said the January 31st 2023 initial date would not be changed
The decision sent panic across the banking sector with most ATMs drying up without cash in the past 48 hours
