Army Rescue Nine Kidnapped Passengers In Cross River State ( Pictures)


 Nine kidnapped passengers have been security agents in Cross River State on Wednesday 

Gunmen had opened fire on travellers along Calabar-Ugep Road on Sunday and succeeded in kidnapping nine of them 

An unnamed foreign national also escaped assassination after he was shot by gunmen around the same spot at Uyanga, in Akamkpa . 



A second passenger that was with him in the Prado jeep escaped to safety.

CKN News learnt that a joint military taskforce were able to rescue the victims today 

It could not be ascertained if any ransom was paid in the process
