Security chiefs including the Kaduna State Commissioner of Police, Abdullahi Mudassiru, alongside the Garrison Commander, 1 Division Nigerian Army, Brigadier General UT Opune; the representative of the State Director, Department of State Services (DSS), Mr SG Shinkafi, and Commissioner for Internal Security, Samuel Aruwan, led other security agencies to the location where armed bandits attacked travellers at Kurmin Kare, Kachia LGA of Kaduna State, which left one person dead and an unspecified number kidnapped.
