REASONS WHY GOODLUCK JONATHAN VISITED IBB AND ABDULSALAM ABUBAKAR IN MINNA

Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan yesterday paid Sallah visit to two former Head of States,Gen Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalam Abubakar in their country homes in Minna ,Niger State.

While the former President said his visit was a routine one to cement the cordial relationship with his senior colleagues and to build bridges across the divides,its been speculated in certain quarters that the visit was to solicit the assistance of the two powerful former Nigerian leaders to compel President Muhammadu Buhari and his government to soft pedal on its war against former firts lady ,Patience Jonathan who has been having a running battle with anti graft agency the EFCC
.
The two former President were highly regarded by the current Nigerian leader and it is being expected that ,they can put in a word or two with President Muhammadu Buhari to shield the sword.

CKN news could not specifically confirm this as at the time of going to press.

Dame Patience Jonathan has sued the EFCC over the seizure of over $34m belonging to her.
There are speculations too that her five star hotel in Bayelsa State will also be confiscated soon.
