52 PEOPLE DIED IN ROAD CRASHES DURING SALLAH BREAK.


Records obtained from the FRSC this evening by CKN news revealed that a total of 52 people died in road accident across the country during the Sallah break. FRSC Head of Media , Bisi kazeem told our correspondent that during the Sallah special patrols, 5311 offenders, were arrested for 5841 offences, 439 arraigned at special mobile courts, with 402 convictions, 37 discharged. 122 crashes were recorded, 52 killed, 425 injured and 520 rescued alive so far.

He reiterates the Corps Marshal's plea to motorists to exercise restrain on their return to their destinations
