Ogun State Governor , Ibikunle Amosun has promised to work harder to
make sure that the people of Ogun State enjoy the full benefits of the dividends
of democracy.
The governor , made the remark at the weekend while receiving the CKN
News 2015 Award as the Best performing governor on EMPLOYMENT AND YOUTH
EMPOWERMENT in the State capital Abeokuta
.
Represented by his Commissioner for Information and Strategy,Otunba Dayo
Adeneye,the governor said despite the dwindling fortune of the State occasioned
by the lean subvention form the Federal due to a drop in oil revenue,he is
determined to fulfil all promises made to the people of Ogun State through
massive developmental projects across the three senatorial districts of the
State.
He called on all indigenes of Ogun State to join hand with his team in
taking the State to the next level.
He thanked the CKN News team for deeming him fit for the award,saying
the award is a call to duty to even achieve more.
Earlier on in his rmark,the Publisher and Editor in Chief of CKN News
,Chris Kehinde Nwandu who led his editorial team to Abeokuta commended the
governor on how he has been able to pilot the affairs the state since his
election.
He expressed shock at the level of developmental project his team saw
during their brief stay in the State.
The team asked the governor to see his award as a call to duty to do
more for his people and wish him the best .
The CKN News annual award was instituted three years ago to reward excellence
in governance.
Six out of the ten awards were approved for 2015 since no winner
could meet the other four award categories shortlisted.
