Fayemi, clarified that N14 billion of the loan had been paid back, leaving a balance of N11 billion, and urged his successor, Mr Ayo Fayose, to study the hand-over note before passing comments on his predecessor.
In a telephone conversation with journalists in Ado-Ekiti on Friday, Fayemi's Commissioner for Information, Mr Tayo Ekundayo, said: "Fayose should study the handing over note carefully before making unnecessary noise about the debt profile of Ekiti. I have been hearing them saying that the debt profile of Ekiti State now stands at N84 billion”
.
Ekundayo hinted that over N14billion had been paid out of the N25billion advising the new governor to settle down for business of governance rather than engaging in 'cheap propaganda.
"Fayose should know that he has assumed a new status now which is quite different from where he was before now .What I will advise him to do now is to settle down and see how he would improve on the legacies of Kayode Fayemi Administration", the ex commissioner said.

ReplyDeleteGood response from the ex-commisioner, sharp and straight to the point. Gov Fayose should not behave like a baby afterall he now has the staff of. Office. Let him settle down for business rather than the euphoria of his winning the election. He will with time prove himself wothy or otherwise. His actions for now are not reflective of a gov but that of a child.
ReplyDeleteEkiti is doomed! Fayose is hell bent on formenting trouble in ekiti
