The Presidency said on Wednesday that it had authorised the engagement of reputable international firms to carry out the forensic audit of the accounts of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.
It, however, did not give details of the firms. The Presidency made this disclosure in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, in reaction to the claim by the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Lamido Sanusi, that his decision to expose corruption in the management of oil revenue led to his travails.

  3. Then Jonathan should ask the petroleum Minister to resign with immediate effect so as to enable them audit properly just as he claimed was the reason for Sanusi's removal. He (GEJ) claimed that he suspended Sanusi so that proper auditing could take place. Let him do the same thing to his ATM card (NNPC Minister).
