David Mark Replies Ex NUJ President..House With Helipad Not Mine

Yesterday, CKN Nigeria break the news of a picture posted by former Nigerian Union of Journalists President, Comrade Lanre Ogundipe on his facebook page said to be a house belonging to Senate President,  David Mark in his home town of Oturkpo in Benue State.

The house had a helipad where helicopters could land. Infact a helicopter was seen perching on the roof top with a multi million Naira Rolls Royce parked underneath.

Comrade Ogundipe captioned the picture thus:

"Authority stealing.....

Friends, see the Senate President's house in his country home. No wonder they don't know how bad the roads are!!! FELA sang in Authority Stealing...instead of motorcycle dem dey fly helicopter...Hmnnnn... indeed FELA was a prophet!!!"
The picture and story has since then gone virile on social media and other media platforms since yesterday.

Senator David Mark has come out to deny the picture.

This is a statement exclusively sent to CKN Nigeria by the SA Media To Senator David Mark,Kola Ologbondiyan.

“Dear Comrade Lanre Ogundipe, the picture you posted on your facebook wall is not the residence of the President of the Senate, Senator David Mark. It is not it at all. You have misled a whole lot of Nigerians with this photograph of yours. I cannot fathom the reasons behind this your action but whatever they are, they are completely misplaced.

Countless Nigerians that know the residence of Senator Mark in Otukpo consider your action as a huge mischief least expected of the height you attained as my very senior professional colleague.

Among the Yorubas, where you have your origin, elders don't tell lies. But I truly don't know how to describe this your needless act. It is a bogus lie, a well calculated attempt to bring Senator Mark to disrepute and disservice to the very profession in which you made a mark in the past.

Facts are sacred, sincere and universal.”

Kola Ologbondiyan 08077790110 (SA Media, To Senate President ,Mark David)

  16. It is only a fool that could defend these politicians stealing from the public to enrich themselves.

  17. This is not about defending anyone. We must not support unfounding stories perpetrated by political opponents to score cheap political points.Hw can some1 snap another persons property & say it belobgs to another just to discredit the person.Remember few days back same detractors accused Mark's wife of responsible of the death of unemployed nigerians at national stadium.Do u expect nigerians to believe the perpetrators of that report. Come on broda, Nigerians are better informed now.Give factual misdoings of this politicians & see hw nigerians will condemn there actions.Like hw Intetior minister & Immigration boss hv missed up.
