Former Edo PDP Gubernatorial Candidate In Fatal Road Accident

Former governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Mr. Kenneth Imansuangbon, has been flown to London for medical treatment following his involvement in a ghastly motor accident.
Imansuangbon was involved in a motor accident on Thursday, when his car had a head-on collision with a truck belonging to Dangote Cement.
He was first taken to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) for medical attention before the doctors advised that he be flown abroad.
The Edo PDP chieftain was airlifted at about 4:55pm from the Benin airport in an air ambulance marked N827SA.
He had earlier described the accident as an assassination attempt on his life.
He attributed this to the manner the truck driver swerved his steering towards the direction of his car.
“We were going to Ewohimi, my hometown with my convoy while the truck was coming in the opposite direction. All of a sudden, the truck driver after passing the two security vehicle in front of me suddenly came towards my direction and hit my car which somersaulted several times into the bush,” Imansuangbon said.
Present at the airport were Imansuangbon’s family members, friends and PDP chieftains in Edo led by its chairman, Chief Dan Orbih.
Speaking to journalists at the airport, Orbih expressed confidence that Imansuangbon would soon return back to the country hail and hearty.

    1. Mr. English Teacher, don't you think that "Ghastly" is more grave than "Fatal" ? Consult your dictionary again and pay attention to their synonyms.

    2. You can not have a civil argument without being vulga and rude. You might be reading MICHAEL WEST. In as much as you can die in a fatal accident, you can also be killed in a ghastly accident. Cool your temper bro.

    3. When you die in an accident,it is not, ghastly, but fatal. If you sustained serious injuries,it is 'ghastly',but if you later die from the injuries, the crash becomes fatal.PERIOD!

    4. Al, were you civil and courteous when you derogatorilycalled the guy 'mr.English teacher?. Truth is you lack the humility to accept a superior argument. Please don't argue further, the two words aren't synonymous.

Here you go. You now agree with me that both words ( fatal & ghastly ) can result to death. Re-naming the crash fatal after being ghastly is like moving a goal post at the middle of the game. The two words ain't synonymous but they are parallel. I still maintain that you need check your dictionary thoroughly.
