Man Kills Mother Over Witchcraft Allegation

A young man from Kaduna Vom in Jos South Local Government Area has been nabbed by the police for killing his mother on allegation of witchcraft while other suspects whose offences ranged from child trafficking, armed robbery to cow rustling.

This was disclosed by the State Commissioner of Police Mr Chris Olakpe .

He said the suspect was undergoing interrogation by the CID and will be charged to court for prosecution as soon as the investigation was over.

He said the command had reduced crime rate in the state to the barest minimum through intelligence gathering and admonished the public to make good use of the emergency lines to give information to ensure improved policing in the state.
