Student Shot Dead At Uniben

Suspected cultists have killed a student simply identified as Snazzy a 200-level Mathematics student was shot in the neck in the university main campus at Ugbowo during a biometric verification exercise right in front of students.

Another student Evans Ekohodo, a final year student of the department of Linguistics, who was the chief of the Kegites club, UNIBEN chapter was shot in the head at Osasogie, an off campus location of the university.

While the details of the killing are still sketchy, Snazzy was shot at point blank in the head and he died instantly before he could be helped.

Uniben in recent time has been noted for its violent killings.
