Robbers Kill 2 Bank Officials In Kwara

A gang of robbers numbering about 20 and fully armed with sophisticated weapons stormed three banks in Omu Aran in Irepodun local government area of Kwara State on Tuesday evening killing two bank officials and a vigilante man, while four police officers, including the Area Commander sustained serious injuries.
It was gathered that the armed robbers, who came in a red Golf car successfully gained access to the vaults of two of the banks and took away millions of naira. The operation reportedly started at 6pm and lasted for an hour.
It was an attack that left the residents in bewilderment as they never expected it. Our correspondent gathered that state police commissioner Oshodi Glover Agboola paid an assessment visit to the community just as stakeholders in the community met to review the incident.
Police Public Relations Officer for the state Olufemi Fabode confirmed the incident, saying no arrest had been made.

  2. The operation lasted for an Hour, yet no quick response from the police, not even a neighbor or anybody could call police within an hour, nar waaa.
