Nigeria Army Moves Deeper Into Boko Haram's Camps


A Fortified Joint Miitary Task Force (JTF) has begun a large scale offensive against Islamic terror group, Boko Haram. 

A massive deployment of troops, armoured tanks, combat helicopters and other military equipment into Maiduguri, the Borno state capital continued with divisions of the security forces taking strategic positions at the areas identified as epic centers of the Boko Haram insurgent group. 

Over 2000 troops have been deployed so far to Borno state to complete the efforts of the about 5,000 members of the Joint Military Task Force (JTF) on ground and more will join them in few days time.

The Soldiers, backed by over 30 armoured tanks and armoured personnel carriers were divided into four groups and despatched to Marte, Mafa, Gamborou-Ngala (border town with Cameroun and Bama LGAs which are the epic centers of the insurgency.

100 patrol vehicles moved towards Mafa axis, backed by the Air Force.

Another set of troops was moved to the Sambisa Games Reserve, in Damboa LGA, in the southern part of the state, where the insurgents are suspected to have set up a base and training camp.

  7. Boko Haram can't come to the south becoz if dey do they will never like ppl like asari what he will do to them . May them see the hottest nd toughess part in this battle ,may JTF not have mercy on them those animals who called them self boko haram.if dey theirs to come 2 the south we will give dem shit,we will make sure their blood flow .

    They've all disappeared into the hot desert where they belong. Come out and fight na! They only know hw to bomb churches. Baaaaaaaaastards!!!!!!!!
