PETROL TANKER UPTURNS IN LAGOS...KILL FOUR

Business activities all around Lagos State were paralyzed  yesterday due to an unprecedented traffic jam that kept thousands of people stranded for hours.Movement into and out of the commercial nerve centre of Nigeria was at a standstill.
The near paralysis was caused by an accident involving a fully loaded Fort Oil petrol tanker that crashed around the Otedola bridge few meters from the Old toll gate in Lagos spilling its contents on the road.
 According to officials of the FRSC who spoke to CKN News ,the tanker driver who was on high speed lost control of the vehicle,somersaulted spilling its contents .The tanker killed four people in the process with many others injured.
The incident kept so many people stranded for hours across the State  yesterday.The Tanker was later removed at the early hours of this morning.These are pictures from the scene of the incident.
