JIMOH IBRAHIM LOSES AT SUPREME COURT AGAIN.

Eyitayo Jegede arriving Akure after the Court verdict
A five- man panel of Supreme Court Justices led by the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, today, struck out another appeal filed by the Ali Modu Sheriff faction of the Peoples Democratic Party.

The motion filed at the apex court by Sheriff's faction is contesting the court of appeal decision that allowed Eyitayo Jedege to be party in the case challenging the judgment of justice Okon Abang of the federal high court.

The panel struck out the motion on the grounds that it has been overtaken by the judgment of Appeal Court that recognized Jegede as the authentic candidate of PDP instead of Jimoh Ibrahim in the Ondo governorship election.

Supreme Court is yet to fix a date to hear the appeals filed by Sheriff's faction challenging the judgment of the appeal court yesterday that allowed INEC to recognize Jegede.
