CKN News investigation has revealed that there were attempts made by some powerful people to stop the airing of the interview granted the BBC Hausa service by Nigeria's first lady Aisha Buhari.

A very reliable source who spoke to CKN News on the matter revealed that some people close to the Villa were not comfortable by the outburst of the first lady. The first lady who obviously is very frustrated by some of the happenings within the ruling Party and country voiced out her frustration in the interview.

She criticized some of elements within the ruling Party of frustrating the good intentions of her husband to serve Nigerians. This ,some people are not finding funny and have made attempts to totally stop the airing of the programme.A request the BBC has rebuffed entirely.

The first lady from our investigation in the next few days may grant more interviews to rebuke what our sources termed as the latest "cabals" at the seat of power.

CKN News  confirmed from BBC London that the BBC interview with the wife of Nigeria's President Aisha Buhari will be aired on Saturday at 6am and 6.30am on BBC radio.

Her supporters with the hashtag #istandwithAishaBuhari are seriously pushing for the interview to be aired.
