Just In..Report reaching CKN News has it that the NNPC
Towers Headquarter at Central area Abuja has been shutdown and all staff
asked to go home as the Umbrella Union body in the oil sector begins a
protest denouncing the recent actions of the Federal as regards the
NNPC especially the unbounding of the Corporation which was announced
by Mr Ibe Kachukwu the GMD of NNPC who is also the Minister
of State for Petroleum..Most of the staff of the Corporation who spoke
to CKN News this morning said they were not even aware of the new
development until they got to this office this morning..They ve all gone
back home..Effort to speak to the Group GM Public Affairs,NNPC, Mr Ohi
Alegbe by our reporters was unsuccessful .The latest development is
expected to worsen the current fuel scarcity being experienced across
