Omisore,Aregbesola Battle For Christian Votes..Attend Same Church Crusade

Osun State governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, and his political rival, Senator Iyiola Omisore, on Saturday, worshipped together at a vigil programme held at Oke Maria Pilgrimage, Otan Ayegbaju, in Boluwaduro Local Government Area of Osun State.
Aregbesola, who arrived the venue of the vigil around 2.45 a.m, met Senator Omisore already seated at the front row, having got to the prayer mountain at 1.45 a.m.
It was gathered the Catholic Archbishop of Ibadan and Apostolic Administrator of Osogbo Catholic Diocese of Osogbo, Most Reverend Gabriel Leke Abegunrin, had earlier hinted the congregation around 10.00 a.m. that the duo of Aregbesola and Omisore, including Senator Babajide Omoworare, representing Osun Central Senatorial district, might attend the annual programme.
He, therefore, urged the  devotees at the Marian Shrine to shelve their political differences and embrace the governor and Senator Omisore, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant in the August 9 governorship election  in the state, as they would come to the Marian Shrine to pray over their different intentions to God.
At about 3.45 a.m,  Archbishop Abegunrin welcomed the trio to the pilgrimage and invited the governor to the podium to extend complimentaries to the about 50,000 pilgrims (Catholics & non-Catholics) from all states of the South-West.
Addressing the congregation, Aregbesola, who quoted from the book of Corinthians, said what God demanded mostly from his people according to the scripture were love, hope and faith, stressed  that the most important one among them was love, asserting that, “I urge you to embrace love. This is what God wants from all of us. Irrespective of your religion, love one another, put your political or religious sentiments apart and embrace love, share your feelings, thoughts, ideas and opinions with one another and pray for yourselves.”
While speaking with journalists at the mountain, Senator Omisore stated that he would ensure that schools were returned to their original owners in the state if elected as the governor of the state

    2. He doesn't need a sweetsayer to tell him that he won't get the Christians vote with the way he is running that state. Let him go and ask his godfather Bisi Akande what happened to him in the same state 2003. I know u are a follower of APC and to you, APC is always right even when theire evil is clearly seen, but God is watching all the evil doing of Rauf

  2. This can only happened in YorubaLand. If it were to be in some other part of the country, more that 1,000 people would have been killed and so many injured. Two aspirant in the same religious gathering! And as for Aregbesola, you don't need the Christian's vote for anything. If u do, you won't implement your useless policy that brings problems between the Christians and the Muslims. God punish the Boko Haram like you.

  3. The sound people should not make the mistake of returning to PDP , they should not forget the anguish that they passed through in the hand of PDP before they were emancipated by APC. Victory is sure for Arabgesola. Omisore, a murdere can never be a Mach
