All items stolen by a notorious thief who robs guests at the Oriental Hotel have been recovered less than 24 hours after his photograph and CCTV footage went viral on social media.
An event planner who was among the victims, announced the recovery of her belongings in a post on Thursday .
She had earlier raised the alarm over the theft, but later confirmed that all her items had been recovered.
“Every item has been recovered; even tho he formatted the files it can still be retrieved back,” she wrote.
She also thanked everyone who helped during the search, saying, “A big thank you to everyone who came through to help out. God bless you.”
However, no details had been provided about the suspect’s whereabouts as of the time of filing this report.
It was earlier reported that the suspect, described as a notorious Lagos thief, had returned to stealing at public events about a decade after he first went viral on social media for a similar offence.
