Vice President Kashim Shettima has taken a swipe at the Presidential candidate of NDC Peter Obi for what he described as his penchant for exagerated figures
Shettima was speaking on Tuesday during the APC Presidential Campaign Council inauguration in Abuja
His statement
"To my good friend, Peter Obi, the master of bourgeois statistics and incoherent economic prescriptions, who seems convinced that a size 36 shirt tailored for Bangladesh will somehow fit Nigeria's size 52 frame.
What succeeds in Bangladesh cannot simply be transplanted to Nigeria without accounting for the differences in our population and economic structure.
A country of 250 million cannot be governed with borrowed statistics. I respect Peter Obi, but he has gone beyond his mastery of philosophy to make bourgeois claims about winning the 2023 presidential election without any evidence to buttress his assertion. This is called delusion of grandeur."
