A corps member has been killed and several people injured after an articulated truck crashed into multiple vehicles around the Agodi Gardens area of Ibadan, Oyo State, on Monday, October 12, 2026.
An eyewitness said that the truck had earlier hit several vehicles around the Sango area before continuing towards Agodi Gardens.
The witness alleged that the driver was attempting to escape when the truck struck a motorcycle, killing the corps member and injuring other road users.
The crash disrupted traffic around the area, forcing authorities to divert vehicles as personnel of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) responded to the scene. The injured victims were reportedly taken to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased or provided a full account of the circumstances surrounding the crash.
