An SS1 student of Oranyan Grammar School, Oyo, has been arrested for planning to use his best friend for money rituals
Both friends allegedly went into the bush together for a so-called "spiritual bath" linked to money ritual.
According to accounts, one of the students turned against his friend, attempting to severe his neck and head for ritual purposes.
Fortunately, the victim fought back and escaped after a serious struggle.
His shouts attracted some villagers who rescued him
The villagers mobilised and arrested the suspect, who is currently detained by the police
