Popular relationship therapist, Nkiru Blessing Okoro, known as Blessing CEO, has lost her son to an asthma attack while she was still in detention.
The heartbreaking news was shared by Isamira Agiye who is leading efforts for her release.
According to her, Blessing CEO has been granted bail but is yet to meet the conditions. N20 million is needed to perfect the bail, while N36 million is required to settle the complainants, bringing the total to N56 million.
She added that the family is hoping Blessing will be released in time to see her late son and bid him farewell before burial.
She pleaded with Nigerians to set aside their personal opinions about Blessing and show compassion to a grieving mother.
