I am deeply saddened to pay tribute to a remarkable woman who served our nation with courage, dignity, and grace. Desire was more than a friend; she was a sister.
A trailblazer, a leader, and a woman of exceptional strength and integrity. She wore the uniform with pride and honor, and left a legacy of dedicated service that will never be forgotten. Your passing has created a vacuum that can never be filled.
Nigeria has lost a gallant officer, and I have lost a sister.
May your soul rest in perfect peace, and may God comfort your family and all of us you left behind.. You will forever be remembered.
