A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory sitting in Maitama has ordered Jordan Wike, son of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, to produce his American international passport before the court.
The order was made by Justice Sylvanus Oriji during proceedings in a suit marked CV/008/2026, filed by Safwan Garba GY and GY Global Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited.
The claimants allege that Jordan Wike was paid $2.1 million to facilitate the acquisition of 30 hectares of land in Katampe and another 30 hectares in Guzape, Abuja. They further allege that the money was not refunded and the proposed land acquisition was not completed.
During cross-examination, Jordan reportedly told the court that he was outside Nigeria on September 26, 2025, and that he travelled using his American passport.
The claimants’ lawyer subsequently asked the court to order him to produce the passport. Justice Oriji granted the application.
Jordan Wike has denied the allegations and maintains his defence in the case.
The matter has been adjourned for continuation of hearing.
