Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni hosted RCCG General Overseer Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye, at a state dinner held at State House, Entebbe.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God said the reception recognised the church’s contribution to spiritual development, social cohesion and community transformation across Africa.
During the dinner, Pastor Adeboye highlighted the RCCG’s commitment to preaching the gospel, planting churches and promoting Christian excellence across Africa and the diaspora. He also emphasised the importance of Christian leaders combining spiritual ministry with practical service to society.
Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye spoke about the role of women in ministry and social transformation, highlighting RCCG initiatives including Africa Missions Global, The Wholistic Outreach and Habitation of Hope, which focus on education, empowerment, rehabilitation and support for vulnerable people.
The RCCG expressed appreciation to President Museveni, First Lady Janet Museveni and the Ugandan government for the reception, reaffirming its commitment to its mission across 196 nations.
