Kira Taiwo, daughter of veteran actor Ogogo, spoke on her father's health battle, sharing the personal toll on her and calling out those exploiting her father's condition online.
During a TikTok live stream on Sunday, 23 August 2026, she said (in part), "God, I know there’s how you do your own thing; I cannot question you, but this is deep. My advice is I don’t think it is healthy to get too close to your parents.
Look at me, I am losing it. I know it; I don’t need anybody to tell me. Seeing someone I love with all my life on the sick bed, in pains for weeks.
He is a very good father. All of us are just confused.
The cleric that brought herbal remedies went live online, and he was saying, 'If you see Ogogo.' Are you trying to make us, the family, hopeless? It’s not nice. You don’t have the fear of God. I leave you for God.
My big daddy saw that video, and he sent a message in the group chat. He said, "Is my brother going?" My big daddy loves my daddy too much. He broke down in tears. I don’t even want to check social media. I don’t want to look at my daddy’s pictures. We don’t deserve this kind of thing. I am sure my big daddy is not okay; he is not fine.
