A meeting called by the Federal Government for 10 am on Monday to resolve the face-off between NUPENG and Dangote group over allegation of anti-labour activities, eventually started at 5:10PM
Present at the meeting were the two ministers of labour, the acting General Secretary of the NLC, the Secretary General of TUC, the NUPENG President and Aliyu Dantata of MRS Company, representatives from Dangote group and officials of the Nigeria midstream and downstream petroleum regulatory Authority, NMDPRA
In his opening remarks, the labour and employment minister, Mohammed Dingyadi, asked parties to be civil in their contributions to assist in the government's effort at resolving the crisis
Meanwhile, more groups are backing NUPENG over Dangote.
They include NLC, TUC, PENGASSAN, and PETROAN
