Another mass killing was averted today in Plateau State as a fully armed suspect was arrested around a Church premises
According to reports the suspect was arrested in the early hours of Sunday, April 20, 2025, at approximately 8:30am
It was learnt that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Plateau State Command had intercepted a man armed with an AK-47 rifle at a church premises in Bokkos Local Government Area.
The armed man was nabbed at his hide-out within the Church where he laid in waiting for Church members waiting to launch his attack
Following the incident, State Commandant of NSCDC Ishaku Musa, FDC, JP, instructed the suspect be moved to Jos for further investigation.
