Igbobi College Old Boys Association 84-86 set on Sunday 15th December 2024 held its 40th Anniversary celebrations
The activities marking the 40th anniversary commenced earlier in the year with the sponsorship of the School's Career Talk by the set
On Friday 13th December 2024 ,the set donated N20m to the Endowement Fund of Igbobi College Old Boys Association ( ICOBA)
On hand to receive the cheque was the National and Global President of ICOBA Mr Femi Olubanwo
The ceremony came to a crescendo on Sunday with a Communion and Thanksgiving Service at Canon Parker Chapel
The lead preacher of the day was Rev Akintunde Coker of the Anglican Communion and a member of the set
In attendance were many members and friends of the set as well as the School Principal and his Vice

Later in the day the anniversary luncheon took place at Chrisland School Opebi Ikeja .
It was an evening of music ,comedy, jokes dance , laughter and comradery
It was attended by members of the set within and outside the country and their spouses
Also in attendance was the National President
The highpoint of the event was the honor bestowed on a former teacher and Principal of the college Mr MAO Ojutiku and late Mr Deniga who was represented by his wife
