Gunmen Abduct Three At Innoson Motors Showroom In Anambra


 

The Anambra State Police Command has confirmed an attack by gunmen at the Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) showroom in Nnewi, where three individuals were abducted.

The incident occurred around 6:45 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the facility on Owerri Road.

According to the command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the police have launched a joint operation involving multiple security forces to rescue the abductees and apprehend the perpetrators.

The police urged residents with any useful information that might aid the investigation are encouraged to report to the police in Awka or at the nearest station.

“The Police Command is determined and is already working with information obtained from the scene for the ongoing rescue operations.

“The Command also urges residents or anyone with useful information that will aid the investigation to come forward to the Command headquarters, Awka, or the nearest police station,” part of the statement read.
