The Lagos State, Ikeja , Ikorodu, Badagry, Epe branches of the Nigerian Bar Association today engaged on a peaceful protest over Police brutality

NO TO POLICE BRUTALITY ...LAWYERS PROTEST IN LAGOS
The joint protest against POLICE BRUTALITY by the Lagos , Ikeja, Ikorodu , Badagry,Epe branches of the NBA ,assisted by NBA Otta held as scheduled .
The protest was on the wake of the unlawful brutal detention for two days of a lawyer, Olumide Sonubi by the police at Gowon Estate Police Station, Lagos
About 700 lawyers participated enthusiastically in the protest march ....from the Secretariat of the NBA IKEJA BRANCH to the headquarters of the Lagos State Police Command and back.
The protest held despite the pleas and manouevres of the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Fakuade who sneaked on the lawyers at their meeting to appeal to them (tacitly) to drop the idea of a protest march .
