Popular broadcaster and TV host, Aisha Alli-Balogun has been murdered in Lagos.

A graduate of  Lagos State University ,she was the presenter of popular comedy show, Stand-Up Nigeria was shot on Friday evening by robbers operating around Asolo-Majidun road of Ikorodu expressway in Lagos.

The presenter widely known as Thelma, was married to Ajibola Yussuf Abiose with whom she had two kids, a boy and a girl.

The little daughter of the murdered TV presenter, Fareeda was also kidnapped by the assailants, her whereabouts still remains unknown.

According to a version of the reports, the assailants actually wanted to kidnap Aisha and her daughter but in her bid to save her daughter, she was hit with the bullet.

She has however been buried according to islamic rites while the whereabouts of her daughter still remains unknown.

There have not been an official statement from the Lagos State Police command on the incident as at the time of going to press
