We like Governor Ambode so much ,i am a strong believer in him that was why we campaigned vigorously and voted for him..In as much as he is doing a good job,it's high time we Lagosians call him to order when he errs..Of recent we have seen a surge in his attempt to make Lagos a tourism hub of a sort (which to us is highly commendable)
We've seen the International Jazz Festival,the sponsorship of AFRIMA,the International Marathon,the Eyo Festivals,the International film festivals and so many other commendable events..
The one that seems to be giving us headache is the 2 day STREET Party that is in it's 3rd edition..Several routes will be closed,commercial activities will be disrupted.

Between Saturday and Sunday,this week (4th-5th November 2016), it will be party allover Lagos with various artistes on display.We have no problem on how the State Government spends its money..
But why partying at this season of recession where people are finding it difficult to make ends meet or even afford one square meal.
The Millions of Naira being expended on this street carnival at this critical period could be channeled into better use for the good of all.Once things improve,then we can party all night and celebrate.But for us ,this does not make sense for now.

AT THIS TIME ,ALL WE NEED IS A SOBER REFLECTION ON THE BIG PROBLEMS FACING US AND NOT A TWO DAY PARTY THAT BENEFITS NO ONE..
