While her husband goes on trial today at a magistrate
court in Ebutte Metta ,Lagos,Ronke Shonde ,the woman allegedly killed by her
husband at Egbeda area of Lagos will be buried this weekend.
This is coming on the heels of the conclusion of the autopsy.
A family member who spoke on condition of anonymity
said,they have decided to give the mother of two a quiet burial, while handing
everything to God.
According to her,”we have no other option than to bury
her,its just an unfortunate incident..It’s even more sad to us because his brother also died barely
a year ago”.
He said,they ll allow the police and the court to do
their job.
Asked if they ll be part of the trial of Lekan,the
family member said ,they don’t know yet.
Ronke was alleged to have been killed by her husband on
allegation of infidelity involving her and her co worker one Kayode Olokun .
The police have confirmed that Lekan Shonde will be
charged to court today over her murder.
Lekan had in an exclusive interview with CKN News (the only news medium to have interviewed him) claimed he did not kill his wife
