The Minister of State for Petroleum and Group Managing Director of the NNPC Ibe Kachukwu today ordered his officers at the Department of Petroleum Resources DPR to give out for free to motorists any Petrol station found to be hoarding fuel across the country..He gave the directive today while on an inpsection tour of some petroleum stations across the FCT as a result of the ongoing fuel scarcity.Mr Kachikwu said his Ministry and the NNPC is doing all within it's power to see that the present condition is brought under control..According to him,he will will be meeting members of the Independent Petroleum Marketers as well as major marketers on Wednesday in Abuja to find a lasting solution to the problem which has practically brought all economic activities in Nigeria to a halt.
