FRSC WARNS JOB SEEKERS AGAINST FRAUDSTERS

The Federal Road Safety Corps has called on job seekers to beware of the recent recurring activities of internet fraudsters who are parading themselves as members of the Corps to anxious job seekers in Nigeria, or as agents, with the aim of extorting money from them.
The Head Media Relations and Strategy, Bisi Kazeem, in a press statement affirms that the Corps is not in any way associated with the criminal elements who have devised an underhanded means of making money illegally.
According to him, the Corps Marshal and Chief Executive, Boboye Oyeyemi, is using the medium to advice Nigerians to disregard such unauthorized and mischievous actions as the Corps is not presently embarking on any recruitment exercise.
Commander Bisi Kazeem described the situation as disturbing and added that the Corps has dissociated itself from the perpetrators of such criminal activities; hence Nigerians must distance themselves from the fraudsters.
In his words, “the general public must understand that the Corps’ recruitment method is an open process that is usually published and broadcast through credible traditional mediums in the categories of television, radio, newspapers, magazines, the Corps’ website, facebook page and twitter handle”.
He further stressed that when the Corps is recruiting, information on such is readily made available through the following official platforms www.frsc.gov.ng, www.fb.com/federalroadsafetycorps or @FRSCNigeria on Twitter. The Corps can also be reached through a toll free line 122 or 070022553772, 08077690055 and 08077690397 for any confirmation or clarification on recruitment and other matters concerning the organization.
The Head Media Relations and Strategy also stated that he is using this medium to remind Nigerians that the Corps Marshal is not on Facebook, as fraudsters are also using several fake facebook accounts, with his identification to swindle unsuspecting members of the public. To this end, all should dissociate themselves from these facebook accounts.

He assured Nigerians that the FRSC in collaboration with security agencies are on the trail of these criminal elements.
