CALL ABIA STATE GOVT TO ORDER..APGA TELLS NIGERIAN POLICE

APGA in Abia State has called on the Nigerian Police to wade into what it describes as widespread voter intimidation, beatings and unbridled violence during the election, hate and smear campaigns that make Radio Rwanda look like child’s play, burning of Isiala Ngwa South INEC office, assassination of Dr.Otti’s orderly in Abuja .The latest act according to it is the torching of INEC office in Mgboko Obingwa LG.Where are the security agencies ? Will the entire state be burnt down before an arrest is made?
The recent torching of the INEC office at Mgboko is a one in a series of events that may plunge the state into anarchy. It is quite clear that the PDP government led by Okezie Ikeazu will not rest until the entire state is shredded.
According to it,the All Progressives Grand Alliance has watched in consternation the gradual descent into chaos. All in a desperate bid to retain a mandate that never existed. This latest action by a mob suspected to be loyal to the PDP is the latest act of hooliganism .Recall that agents of the Peoples Democratic Party prevented APGA Governorship Candidate Dr Alex Otti’s lawyers from inspecting the materials at Obingwa. They were physically attacked and prevented from carrying out the instructions of the tribunal. The fire could have been checked since the fire service was altered but unfortunately their trucks had no diesel to move! This is Okezie Ikpeazu’s government …immobile fire trucks!
The Tribunal then ordered that the materials should be brought to the court for inspection. It should be clear even to a child that the arson was meant to prevent the materials from being inspected. Violence, irresponsibility and crass disregard for virtually everything humane has always been the hallmark of the tattered umbrella .This is hardly surprising. What is surprising is the continued inability of the security agencies to fish out the perpetrators. Eye witness accounts have confirmed that the INEC office was bunt down in broad daylight by a large crowd that was armed to the teeth! This presupposes that the perpetrators are local and should be known .Why the delay in making arrests? The security agencies have an obligation to secure lives and property. It is therefore irresponsible to sit on the office whilst the property of the federal government is routinely vandalized and burnt to the ground. This is one ARSON too many.
We hereby call on the Inspector General of Police to set up a special Task Force to investigate what is happening in Abia state. These include : the razing of the INEC offices in Isiala Ngwa South and Obingwa , the assassination of Dr Alex Otti’s Orderly in Abuja And many other violent comes being perpetrated in the state on a daily basis.
“My father chastised you with whips…I shall chastioze you with scorpions “so said the Holy Bible. The way Okezie Ipkeazu is going ….the “ lootocracy “ and motion without movement of the so called Ochendo will be childs play.
What we find more baffling is he puerile pontification of the PDP.It is very childish to run to the press first and accuse APGA of burning down the building.Howver this is just a tiny indication of how backward retarded the state has become .Common sense is on Sabbatical in Abia government and PDP.No rational person can condescend to such statements but than in the PDP’s Abia state irrationality is a way of life and idiocy is taken for granted .We all know that the witch cried in the night and the child died in the morning.
We restate once again our call for the dynamic IGP Mr. Solomon Arase to set up without delay a special task force for Abia state.
