Amaechi Leaves Rivers People With Uncompleted Multi Billion Naira Monorail Project

The multi billion Naira Rivers State monorail project embarked by the outgoing administration of Governor Rotimi Amaechi may end up being an elephant project after all going by the statement of Rivers Statement of Rivers State Commissioner of Information ,Mrs Ibim Semenitari..Mrs Semenitari who contributed to the debate on the project on CKN's facebook page agreed that the project was not finished by Amaechi due to lack of funds..hear her:

"CKN he hasn't finished and commissioned it. With incoming revenues cut by conservatively 60 percent government must prioritize salaries before projects and this is the situation nationwide. So far the main depot is still under construction. All the other stations and tracks have been completed and the coaches of course have been tested on the tracks"

The project has pitched Governor Amaechi against his opponents who accused him of spending billions of Rivers State tax payers money on the project which has yielded no fruit so far
